We offer a guided tour of about one hour to explain the entire production and harvesting process of the traditional coarse salt and Fleur de Sel. You can also see a number of seabirds (flamingos, herons, waders, etc.) living around the salt pans in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve.

The tour can be conducted in Portuguese, English, French or Czech and takes approximately one hour.

In addition to a guided tour of the Grelha salt pans, you can also try to swim, or better to say be carried away on water as salty as the Dead Sea.
